Body of elderly woman recovered from closed room in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur, Oct 7: A Body of an elderly woman has been recovered from a closed room at Shivaji Nagar under Umarkote town in Nabarangpur on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Kusum Nayak. On the complaint of the daughter-in-law of the deceased, Umarkote police has initiated an investigation into the matter. Sources said, Kusum was residing with her elder daughter-in-law after the death of the elder son. Meanwhile, her decomposed body was recovered from a closed room on Thursday. Bieng informed, Umarkote police rushed to the spot seized the body and sent it for post mortem.
