BMC starts disinfection drive in Odisha capital for Covid-19

Bhubaneswar, March 31: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today started disinfection drive in Bapuji Nagar area of Bhubaneswar to check the spread of Covid-19. {"align":"center","id":33382,"sizeSlug":"large"} The civic body took the help of Odisha Fire Service to spray disinfectant in one of the busiest market places in the city. City Health Office of BMC has chalked out a detailed plan in coordination of the COVID-19 control room in BMC central office to carry out subsequent sanitization work. {"align":"center","id":33407,"sizeSlug":"large"} Fire officials said that disinfectant is being mixed in the fire tenders and the mixture is being sprayed on the road and other public amenities in the area. “The health wing of the civic body has chalked out a detailed plan to disinfect several areas in the city. We will engage the fire tenders for this purpose,” said a fire official. " Odisha Fire Service has deployed three fire brigade in the day time along Janpath near Bapuji Nagar. Another five vehicles will start at CRP Square today," said a BMC official.
