BMC shifts Unit IV fish/ meat market to Patel Marg

Bhubaneswar, April 1: In the course its continued fight against Covid-19 pandemic the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has shifted the meat and fish market of Unit IV to the nearby Patel Marg. BMC's decision was necessitated in order to ensure proper social distancing among citizens as well as vendors ensuring compliance of Covid-19 regulations and SOP devised by the State Government. {"align":"center","id":33626,"sizeSlug":"large"} The civic body in a statement has thanked the people of Bhubaneswar for adhering to the rules and regulations and helping BMC in ensuring a hygienic atmosphere in the market area. It can be mentioned here that in order to ensuring social distancing SOP the largest civic body of the State has shifted more than 40 markets to nearby roads and open spaces to keep the community spread of Covid-19 pandemic away.
