BMC reveals the name of 5th Covid-19 positive in Odisha for larger public interest

Bhubaneswar, April 2: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today made the name of the fifth Covid-19 positive public for larger interest of public. BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary said that , the fifth positive case detected in Bhubaneswar do not have any recent travel history neither to any other country nor any part of India. Contact tracing seems impossible to establish and identify all contacts and to check the spread of the highly contagious virus. Thus it is essential in the public interest to know the possible contacts of the detected cases where there is no travel history and to find out all the people who could have been potentially infected by such positive cases,” he said. He also said that the name of the patient is  Pradipta Kumar Dalabehera currently staying at Plot No 37, Ward No 46, Surya Nagar in the state capital. “The name of the patient has been published with an intention to safeguard the public who have come in contact with him since Match 1. Those public who have been in contact with him shall keep themselves to home quarantine forthwith for 14 days from the date of contact and inform/register about such quarantine in the helpline No 104. No member of the public shall indulge in commissionor omission of any act of social discrimination against him and his family members,” added Chaudhary.
