BMC Commissioner helps to admit woman patient in Covid hospital

Bhubaneswar, May 3: The Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has extended his helping hand to admit a woman in a Covid hospital on Sunday. Acting upon a tweet, the Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary sent an ambulance to the positive patient Banita Rahul and got her admitted into a Covid hospital. Sources said, Banita Rahul who was tested Covid positive, called to the Corona helpline number for assistance after she became critical. However, the call could not connect. She informed it to one of his relatives, Krishnendu Nandi asking for help. Krishnendu Nandi tweeted to Bakul Foundation regarding the matter. Meanwhile, the social outfit tagged it to the tweeter handle of BMC Commissioner on the Sunday morning. On the other hand,the BMC Commissioner, Chowdhury sent an ambulance and managed to admit Banita to a Covid hospital within half an hour. Banita and her family expressed their gratitude for the benevolence of Chaudhary.
