Blood donation camp held in memory of eminent lawyer Revatikanta Sastry

Bhubaneswar, Nov 11: A voluntary blood donation camp has been organised in the memory of Late Revatikanta Sastry today on behalf of the Bhubaneswar Bar Association in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Regional Branch, Commissionerate Police. Police Commissioner, S.K Priyadarsi IPS, District & Sessions Judge, Khurda Ram Shankar Hota and SDJM Janmanjaya Palai graced the occasion. President of Bar Association, Nirmal Ratha, secretary Raj Kishore Das, advocate Silabhadra Sastry, ACP Lalitendu Mohanty, ACP Rajat Ray and other members of Bar Association were also present. A total of 75 units of blood have been collected. “It is significant that for the first time the members of Bar Association and the Commissionerate Police have extended their support for blood donation,” said a member of Bar Association.
