Bhubaneswar: BJP national president Amit Shah on Sunday released party’s Odisha unit election manifesto “Sankalp Patra” here.
In its poll manifesto, the saffron party assured implementation of Ayushman Bharat Yojana and PM-KISAN scheme in the State, enforcement of PESA Act in three months, interest free loan to farmers, refund of money to duped chit fund depositors.
The saffron party also promised metro rail between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack if it comes to power.
It also featured women safety as a major prong. Shah released the manifesto in the presence of party national vice president and Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant Panda, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Bijoy Mohapatra, Biswabhusan Mohapatra and other senior leaders.
On the occasion, Shah also came down heavily on Naveen Patnaik Government alleging that Odisha is being run by babus.
Earlier today, Congress too released its election manifesto and promised loan waiver for farmers up to Rs 2 lakh and financial assistance of Rs 10,000 per year to farmers for three years among many others.
The ruling BJD is yet to release its manifesto.
