Bhubaneswar, Mar 27: The opposition BJP today raised uproar in the Assembly once again over paddy procurement from the farmers. BJP MLAs stormed the Well of the House demanding extension of last date for lifting of paddy to April 15.They wanted to know how much paddy has been lifted so far. Nothing could be audible due to din in the House. On the other hand, Parliamentary Affair Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha said that the budgetary demand relating to Food and Civil Supplies Department has been slated to be discussed today. During the discussion, the minister would give details of paddy procurement. So there is no point for the opposition to raise uproar on the issue.
