Bhubaneswar: Senior Congress leader and Jatni MLA Suresh Kumar Routray on Sunday predicted that Biju Janata Dal (BJD) candidate will the Patkura Assembly constituency seat which went to polls yesterday.
He too said the BJP and the Congress would get second position and third position, respectively.
It may be noted that the election to Patkura Assembly seat was earlier postponed twice for death of BJD candidate Bed Prakash Agrawalla and subsequently for Cyclone Fani.
The fates of a total of 10 candidates are now locked in the ballot boxes. The candidates include Sabitri Agarwalla of the BJD, Bijay Mohaptra of the BJP and Jayant Mohanty of the Congress.
Votes will be counted on July 24.
