Bilateral discussion on to resolve Kotia border dispute

Bhubaneswar,Feb 8: A bilateral negotiation process between the Odisha and Andhra Pradesh has started for resolving Kotia border dispute. A delegation of Odisha led by the School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash are negotiating with a delegation of Andhra Pradesh headed by the chairperson of Bidhan Parishad Md Ahmed Sharif in the premises of Odisha assembly at Bhubaneswar today. As a preventive measure against Andhra’s ill intention cross-border,the government of Odisha has invited Andhra Pradesh government for an amicable settlement on Kotia issue. Accordingly, representatives of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha are thrashing out the issues at a state level meeting convened in the state assembly premises.
