Bhubaneswar, April 13: In yet another incident of loot in broad daylight, some bike-borne miscreants have allegedly snatched a gold chain from a woman in the capital city Bhubaneswar this morning.

As per reports, the incident took place near a leading private school in the Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar when the woman was returning home on a two-wheeler after dropping off her daughter at the school.

The bike-borne miscreants allegedly snatched away the gold chain from the woman’s neck and fled from the spot. As a result, the woman lost her balance, fell off her two-wheeler, and sustained severe injuries.

Following this, the woman lodged a complaint with the Nayapalli police station. Based on the complaint, the police have initiated a probe into the matter.
