Nayagarh,Mar 19: A bike accident claimed three lives leaving three riders injured near Jaganannathpur in Nayagarh on Thursday night. The two deceased have been identified as Krushna Chandra Nayak, a native of Jagannathpur and Shyamasundar Sethi of Patharakata under Nayagarh district. Police said, Shyamasundar Sethi and Dipak Sahu were travelling to Saranakul on a bike. At the same time Krushna Chandra and Manmohan Nayak were returning to their home at Jagannathpur attending a spiritual programme at Angisingi. At Jagannathpur, their speeding bikes tossed each other violently. As a result four riders sustained serious injuries. Being alerted by locals, Sarankul police rushed to the spot and admitted the four injured in Sarankul hospital. However, Krushna Chandra died there. Similarly, Shyamasundar who was referred to district headquarters hospital Nayagarh also died during the treatment. On the other hand, Deepak and Manmohan who got seriously injured were shifted to Bhubaneswar as their condition deteriorated. However, one died on the way to Bhubaneswar.
