Jeypore, Aug 9: While as many as six Vande Bharat Express trains are now connecting Odisha through various key routes, another Vande Bharat Express is going to be launched soon.
The proposed Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to connect Odisha’s state Capital City Bhubaneswar with Jeypore, the district headquarters of Koraput.
The development was good news for the Koraput locals on Saturday as Odisha Chief Minister assured another Vande Bharat Express for Odisha that will connect the remote district soon.
According to reports, Jeypore Legislator Tara Prasad Bahinipati had written to PM Modi and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, for provision of a Vande Bharat Express to connect Jeypore & Odisha’s Capital City Bhubaneswar.
Responding on the matter during his Jeypore visit today CM Mohan Majhi said that the Ministry of Railway is in favour of providing a Vande Bharat Express on the route in the future.
Majhi while interacting with presser said, as many as 6 Vande Bharat Express are almost connecting key towns and stations across the state. Bhubaneswar-Jeypore Vande Bharat if begins, will boost up local trades and travel through a robust rail connectivity to Western Odisha regions.
