Bhubaneswar, Aug 07: A woman was critically injured today in the Odisha capital after she was allegedly attacked by a food delivery boy during an argument over delayed service.
The victim, identified as Binodini Rath from the Shampur area, was reportedly assaulted with a sharp weapon.
According to reports, the altercation escalated, leading to the brutal attack.
Rath sustained severe injuries to her head, neck, hand, and leg, and was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital for treatment.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after receiving information about the incident and have detained the delivery boy for questioning.
