Bhubaneswar records its season’s highest temperature

Bhubaneswar, Apr 22: As the mercury continues to soar persistently in the Odisha, the state’s capital city recorded its season’s highest temperature of 40.8°C on Friday.
According to the Regional Meteorological Center, 3 places in Odisha including the capital city Bhubaneswar recorded day time temperature above 40°C.
The mercury soared up to 41°C, both in Boudh and Paralakhemundi, making them the hottest place in the state followed by Bhubaneswar that recorded 40.8°C.
The meteorological center also informed that several districts in Odisha might witness a rise of 2°C to 3°C in the day temperature in the upcoming days.
