Bhubaneswar, June 17: As part of the ongoing redevelopment of Bhubaneswar Railway Station into a world-class facility, the Passenger Reservation System (PRS) and Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) counters have been temporarily relocated.
Previously operating from a temporary shed, the counters are now functioning from the newly constructed station building to facilitate smooth construction work at the earlier site.
To further enhance passenger convenience, a new approach road from the Town Bus Stand and Temple side has been opened. This provides improved connectivity and seamless access to the station.
A major step forward in the redevelopment project is the launch of a Ground Level Departure Concourse, offering direct access to Platform No. 1. This new facility is expected to ease congestion and significantly improve the movement of passengers.
The relocated PRS, UTS, and Enquiry Counters at the new building offer a more spacious and organized setup, ensuring better service and comfort for travelers.
