Eight talented artists showcase brilliant works in Bhubaneswar today
Bhubaneswar Lalit Kala Kendra opened its highly anticipated Metamorphosis art exhibition today. Renowned sculptor Padmashree Adwaita Gadanayak inaugurated this vibrant event. He praised contemporary Odisha creators for showing exceptional skill and achieving national recognition in their respective crafts.
Bhubaneswar has long served as a cultural hub nurturing traditional and modern fine arts across Eastern India. Regional Secretary Ramakrishna Vedala welcomed guests and explained the core vision behind this gathering. Important figures like Dr. Panchanan Samal and senior creator Ramhari Jena attended the opening ceremony.

Eight dedicated Lalit Kala Akademi research scholars presented their year-long creative projects. Visitors admired diverse works from Abhipsa Swain, Amiya Ranjan Ojha, Himanshu Mahanta, Jyotiranjan Jena, Kinu Behera, Pratap Badatia, Saraswati Angaria, and Sudarshan Routray. Their impressive collections feature striking paintings, intricate sculptures, delicate ceramics, and bold printmaking techniques.
