Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: A fight over eating fish between a chef and his co-worker at a hotel in Bhubaneswar city on Tuesday night ended in murder of one of them, said the police.

The deceased, identified as Pitamber Jena, a native of Sorda in Odisha’s Ganjam district, was working as a cook at a hotel in Damana Square for the last 15 years.

According to reports, an altercation broke out Pitambara and a hotel employee over eating fish last night. The verbal fight took an ugly turn when his co-worker lost his cool and attacked Pitambara till death.

Police reached the hotel being informed about the incident and launched a probe into the matter sending the body for post-mortem.
