Bhitarkanika National Park to open for tourists from Oct 19

Kendrapara, Oct 17: Bhitarkanika National Park in Kendrapara district will reopen for tourists from October 19 (Monday) after around seven-month break. The park was closed for tourists in March due to Covid-19 pandemic and was reopened on October 1 only for night stay. The park will now open for public visit from Monday with strict adherence to Covid guidelines and not more that 500 tourists are allowed into it. People with systems of cough, cold and flu are not allowed to visit the national park known for crocodiles.
