Berhampur couple sustains serious injuries in attack by unknown miscreants

Berhampur, Sept 11: A couple sustained severe injuries after being attacked by some unidentified miscreants late Tuesday night. The incident occurred in Gouda Sahi under Bada Bazar police limits in Odisha’s Berhampur.

The victims, identified as Satish Kumar Subuddhi, a goldsmith, and his wife, were asleep when the assailants climbed onto their roof and cut through the iron grill to break into their home. The miscreants attacked the couple with sharp objects as they attempted to prevent the intruders from entering their home. Both Satish and his wife sustained injuries during the confrontation before the attackers fled the scene.
