Bengaluru, May 24: In a gruesome incident a Bengaluru man allegedly poured acid on his wife over a feud centering playing music loud.
The incident took place at NMH layout in Sidedahalli in north Bengaluru, the Police said.
The victim who is a 44-year old beautician, is now struggling with life in a hospital.
According to report, the beautician’s drunken husband was playing hoarse music on his mobile. Meanwhile, she asked him to stop citing public annoyance. Irked over it, the man poured acid used as floor-cleaner on her body that burnt major portions of her face. She was rushed to hospital by locals for treatment.
On being informed, police reached the hospital, took stock of the incident and tried to reach out the accused but in vain. He had already fled the scene by that time.
Efforts are on to apprehend the accused, said police.
