Overseas Defeats Spark Concern
India suffered a shocking 2-0 T20I series loss in Ireland this past June. This defeat shattered their remarkable run of 16 unbeaten series that lasted nearly three years. Things deteriorated further during the England tour. India faced a humiliating 4-0 whitewash in the T20I series, highlighted by a crushing 125-run defeat in Nottingham. They managed to win the opening One Day International in Birmingham but ultimately lost that series 2-1. Historically, Indian sides have struggled with sudden transitions in leadership and coaching styles, making these overseas slumps particularly worrisome ahead of major global tournaments.
Mounting Injury Woes Plague Squad
