Bargarh, May 16: A junior engineer was found dead inside a car near Haladipali Chhak in Bargarh in the wee hours of Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Chandra Sekhar Jhadia, serving as a Junior Engineer (JE) in the Barpali Block.
Sources said, Chandra Sekhar left his home yesterday for the office. He last spoke to his wife around noon but failed to answer any calls afterward. Concerned by his silence, his wife began a frantic search, which tragically ended when he was found dead in his car today.
A detailed investigation has been launched to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his demise, as the cause of death remains uncertain.
Police reached the spot, sent the body for postmortem examination, and started an investigation into the matter.
