Ayodhya on high alert after bomb blast threat

Uttar Pradesh, Dec 2: The Ayodhya police, on Thursday, has beefed up the security forces all over Ayodhya after it received a telephonic threat to blow up the city. According to sources, around 11 am today, the police received an anonymous call on the toll-free number 112. The strange caller allegedly threatened to organise an explosion to blow up Ayodhya city. Following this, Police have intensified the security measures at all the temples, entrances, hotels, dharamshalas, railway stations and bus stations across the city. At the same time, intensive checking is carried at all the check-posts in and around the Ayodhya shrine. Meanwhile, squads of Black Cat commandos have been deployed in the Ram Janmabhoomi area to get rid of untoward situations.
