Sundargarh, Mar 9: Vigilance officers on Tuesday conducted simultaneous searches at the properties of one Parshuram Naik, the assistant engineer of Badagaon block of Sundargarh over allegations of accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The anti-corruption agency’s sleuths carried out searches at Naik’s residential house at three places, including his houses at Rangadhipi and Lefripada.

The Vigilance officers also carried out searches at his office chamber.

According to sources, the Vigilance officers also seized cash and several documents during the raid.
