Puri,July 3: A technical team of Archaeological Survey of India(ASI) visited the Sri Jagannath temple at Puri on Sunday. The team studied the status of the inner portion of the core temple in order to expedite essential repair work. Sources said that the technical team led by the expert of IIT Chennai, Prof. Arun Menon arrived at the Shrimandir complex and studied the cracks and fractures on the walls and sanctum sanctorum of the Sri Jagannath temple in the morning. {"id":194921,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} Prof. Menon accompanied by Conservation Superintendent Vima, ASI Odisha In-charge, Arun Mallik and chemical engineer Ranjana Puskar also studied the feasibility of the Kalhata Dwara(Gate) before plating its doors with silver paving.
