New Delhi, August 13: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday hosted Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya at the Railway Board’s War Room in New Delhi and briefed them on its functioning.
During the visit, Vaishnaw demonstrated how the facility uses live feeds from railway stations, artificial intelligence-based systems and operational data to closely monitor railway activities and enable timely decision-making, according to an official statement from the Railway Ministry.
Located at Rail Bhawan, the War Room receives real-time feeds from railway stations across the country, covering platforms, foot overbridges and areas outside station premises. The integrated monitoring system helps railway authorities maintain oversight of operations and respond swiftly to emerging situations.
