ASHA worker goes missing in Malkangiri

Malkangiri, July 11: An ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) worker has gone missing in Podia area of Odisha’s Malkangiri district, with the family suspecting that she was abducted.

The woman had gone to Podia government hospital and did not return home at a village in Podia police station area on July 3, according to a complaint by her family.

Her mobile was found switched off.

“ A case (7/2021) of missing person has been registered in this regard and the police launched a probe into the matter,” informed Podia police station IIC.
