Bhubaneswar, Feb 21: Moving ahead with its zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, Odisha Government has offered compulsory retirement to Additional SP (Communications) of Odisha Police, Trinath Mishra. He had been arrested by the vigilance on charges of corruption. Mishra had been found in possession of disproportionate assets to a tune of Rs 9 crore which includes four plots and seven expensive cars. After receiving several allegations, Odisha Vigilance had carried out searches at 11 places associated with Mishra in Cuttack, Khordha, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, and Nabarangpur districts. In accordance with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, Mishra has been awarded compulsory retirement.
