Balasore, Aug 4: In a shocking late-night robbery, a family in the Dahisada area under Soro police limits in Balasore district was looted of gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 50 lakh by a gang of five armed miscreants.
The incident took place at the residence of Jnanendra Upadhyay, where the assailants allegedly broke in through the back door under the cover of darkness.
