Archana Nag’s aide Shradhanjali appears before ED again

Bhubaneswar, Nov 23: Shradhanjali Behera, one of the associates of lady blackmailer Arcahana Nag who accused Odia film producer Akshaya Parija of sexually exploiting her, today appeared again before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Bhubaneswar in connection with the high profile sextortion case. She was interrogated for more than 10 hours by the investigating agency on Wednesday. The ED had earlier summoned Shradhanjali for interrogation in connection with the sextortion case involving Archana and her husband Jagabandhu Chand. Sources said that she is likely to be grilled over her alleged involvement in blackmailing and extorting money from prominent and influential people with Archana Nag. As per reports, Shradhanjali had alleged that Parija lured her by offering the lead role in one of his upcoming films and sexually exploited her for 1.5 years. She had also submitted some supporting photographs featuring some of her ordeals caused by Parija. On the other hand, Parija refuted the allegations leveled against him and termed them baseless. The producer had earlier filed a complaint against the girl at the Nayapalli police station alleging that Shradhanjali had invited him to her house for dinner and had recorded the video. He further alleged that Shradhanjali was also blackmailing him by threatening to make the video viral and demanding Rs 5 crore. Later, following the arrest of Archana and the busting of the sextortion racket being run by her, it was found out that Shradhanjali was one of the lady blackmailer’s associates. Notably, the Commisionerate Police had arrested Archana on October 6 on charges of honey trapping several bigwigs and extorting huge amounts of money from them. Later, her husband was arrested on October 22 in this connection.
