Anti-CAA stir at Shaheen Bagh: Protesters open road blocked for 70 days

New Delhi, Feb 22: A road in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, which was blocked for past 70 days due to the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, (CAA) has been reopened today. According to reports, the road from Jamia to Uttar Pradesh’s Noida and Faridabad in Haryana has been reopened by the protesters. The traffic system is being monitored by the Delhi Police, who have been deployed at Shaheen Bagh since the protests began. The Delhi Police said they had no information regarding the opening of the roads. Meanwhile, locals have begun celebrations after protesters opened the Noida-Kalindi Kunj Road.
