Cuttack, Sep 2: Police today arrested three more accused involved in the murder of a trader in Malgodown in 2014. Police had earlier arrested three accused involved in the murder of Mohammed Farooq after he refused to pay extortion money of Rs 30 lakh. Police have also seized the motorcycle used in the crime. Police said that so far 11 accused involved in the murder of the trader have been arrested. “We are also trying to nab other accused involved in the murder,” said a police official. Earlier on Wednesday, police had arrested Deepak Kumar Nayak, one of the prime accused of the murder case. Farooq, a wholesaler of pulses, was shot dead on November 12, 2014, when he was sitting in his shop at Malgodown. Four bike-borne miscreants had opened fire on him from close proximity.
