Another case registered against Odisha IFS and his son for cheating of Rs 65 lakh

Bhubaneswar, Dec 1: The Kharvel Nagar police today registered case against tainted IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak and his son Akash for non payment of Rs 65 lakh to a travel agency. Police said that Prabhash Kumar Choudhury, the managing partner of Sky King company today lodged a complaint with the police. The complaint alleged that Akash impersonated himself as Managing Director of Tata Motors Ltd and sent mails and other forged documents and booked chartered flights hotels worth Rs 2.78 crore since June. “They paid Rs 2.13 crore and refused to clear the rest dues and cheated me. They also threatened me of dire consequences when I refused to discontinue the service,” allege the complainant.
