Anjana Mishra gangrape case: Survivor identifies prime accused during TI parade

Bhubaneswar, March 3: Anjana Mishra, survivor of Barang gang rape case in 1999, today identified the prime accused Biban Biswal during TI (test identification) parade conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at Jharapada jail. The court of Special CBI in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday has granted permission for TI parade of accused Biswal. The prime accused of the incident Bibekananda Biswal aka Biban, who had been evading arrest for last 22 years, was arrested from Pune on February 22. The other two accused Padia and Dhirendra Mohanty had been arrested earlier in 1999. Mishra was gang-raped at Barang on the outskirts of Odisha capital on January 9 in 1999 while she was travelling in a car from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar along with a friend.
