Andhra officials unseal Anganwadi centre in Odisha’s Gajapati

Gajapati, Sep 9: Amid frequent trespassing into Kotia group of villages in Koraput, Andhra has put its signature in Gajapati district. In a neck and neck situation, Andhra officials have forcefully unsealed an Anganwadi centre that was sealed by the Gajapati district administration. The incident took place at Manikapatna village under Rayagada block on Wednesday. Sources said Andhra Pradesh officials had established a temporary Anganwadi centre at Manikapatna village under Gangabada gram panchayat recently. Being informed, the Gajapati district administration sealed it immediately. However, some Andhra officials forcefully broke the lock and started teaching the children in the centre. Besides, they undertook a series of programmes related to early childhood education. At the same time, ministers along with some higher officials of Andhra Pradesh have also scheduled to visit Manikapatna village to discuss with the villagers.
