Andhra declares Mandal and Zilla Parishad election in Kotia

Koraput, April 5: Andhra Pradesh has declared Mandal and Zilla Parishad election within Kotia group of villages that belong to Odisha. Andhra's state election officer has issued a formal notification on April 1 in this regard. The notification read, polling would be conducted for Talaganjeipadar and Patachenuru village on April 8 and vote counting would be held on April 10. G T W A High School has been chosen as the polling booth for Patachenuru Gram Panchayat and ITDA new building has been selected to be the polling centre for Ganjeibhadra Gram Panchayat. {"id":106031,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} Andhra Pradesh had conducted the first phase of election on February 13 trespassing into the Odisha territory. Opposing it, Odisha Government had filed a contempt petition in the Supreme Court. Despite this, neighbouring Andhra Pradesh has ventured into Odisha’s territorial jurisdiction.
