Bhubaneswar: In a tragic mishap, two persons were killed and two others sustained critical injuries as an ambulance, in which they were travelling, hit a roadside tree at Chandanpur in Bhadrak district early this morning.

While the deceased were yet to be identified, the injured have been admitted to a hospital and are undergoing treatment.

According to reports, the ambulance was on its way from Chandabali to Bhadrak when it met with the accident at Chandanpur. Police have reached the spot and started investigation.
