All privately managed Covid hospitals except SUM and Aditya Aswini de-hired by Odisha govt

Bhubaneswar, Jan 5: Odisha government today de-hired all private Covid-19 hospitals except Sum Covid-19 Hospital and Aditya Aswini Hospital both in Bhubaneswar. The decision was taken keeping in view to the declining incidence of Covid-19 and considering the recommendations of the Chairman, Technical Committee,Covid-19 Management. Officials said that the existing patients who are admitted before January 1 and are undergoing treatment will continue to get treatment till they are recovered or discharged. “The 30 government run Covid-19 hospitals will be strengthened with appropriate manpower, equipment and instrument.. No new Covid-19 patient admission will be made in private Covid-19 hospitals from January 1 except SUM and Aditya Aswini,” said an official.
