All govt offices throughout Odisha to remain closed on Saturdays in the month of November

Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: Odisha government has asked all the departments and sub-ordinate offices in twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar to perform the official work with 50% of the employee’s strength (all staff including Group-A Officers) in the month of November in view of Covid infections in the State. Besides all government offices throughout the State will remain closed on Saturdays. “The Departments / Heads of Offices in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack may decide the manner of selection of employees who will attend office. However, the essential offices / services such as SRC and OSDMA offices, Police, Fire Services, Health Services, Municipal services etc. shall function in full strength. Besides, all officials and staff involved with smooth functioning of the Assembly will attend office on all days of the ongoing session,” read a notification of General Administration & Public Grievance Department.
