Akash Pathak grilled by ED in Tata Motors job scam

Bhubaneswar, Nov 11: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today interrogated Akash Pathak, son of former IFS Abhaykant Pathak in connection with Tata Motors job scam. A three-member team of the ED interrogated Akash at Jharpada jail in Bhubaneswar. The Court of the District & Sessions Judge in Khordha had allowed the ED to question Akash in connection with the job scam case. On November 27, senior IFS officer and Additional PCCF of Plan, Program & Afforestation Abhay Kant Pathak and his son Akash Pathak were arrested by the Vigilance on charges of accumulating massive “ill-gotten” wealth. Akash had allegedly duped several job aspirants by impersonating a senior officer of Tata Motors. He had allegedly given fake appointment letters to several youths by offering them jobs of graduate engineer and management trainees.
