New Delhi, May 23: In a major development in the death case of actor-model Twisha Sharma, a four-member medical board from All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi reached Bhopal on Saturday to conduct a second autopsy on the 33-year-old.
The move comes following directions issued by the Madhya Pradesh High Court in connection with the investigation into Twisha’s death.
Twisha Sharma, a native of Noida, was found hanging at her marital residence in the Katara Hills area of Bhopal on May 12. Her body has since been preserved at the mortuary of All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal.
According to reports, the medical board comprising four senior doctors from AIIMS Delhi travelled to Bhopal in a state-chartered aircraft on Saturday night. The second post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday.
