Ahmedabad, June 18: At least 159 bodies of the 270 deceased involving the Ahmedabad Plane Crash on Thursday were handed over to their legitimate claimants so far.
Similarly, as many as 190 victims of the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad were so far been identified through DNA matching with that of their kin.
Official sources said that the sole survivor’s younger brother’s body was handed over to his family members while the luckiest survivor was duly sent abode after his health condition reportedly revived.
The DNA matching will continue for the remaining bodies to ascertain the name, address and details of the passengers who were killed in the terrible crash, said Civil Hospital sources.
Worth mentioning, the massive number of bodies was of the ill-fated Air India Dreamliner flight passengers, who were charred to death soon after the crash.
