Agitation isn't ending, says Rakesh Tikait after Modi’s announcement to repeal 3 farm laws

New Delhi, Nov 19: Despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement to repeal the Centre’s three farm laws, Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait on Friday said the farmers’ agitation is not ending till the laws are officially not repealed in Parliament. “Agitation isn't ending. Who told you that the agitation is ending? It'll continue, the 9-member committee of Samyukt Morcha is being held today. If Govt wants to put forth their side, they should do it there. We'll legally work on things they say at the conference, said Rakesh Tikait. They've just taken laws back, they should go to Parliament. We have Samyukt Morcha meeting today. Everything will be decided there.MSP Guarantee Act is an issue too. Committee will be formed that will talk to government over other issues, can't keep agitating on all issues, he added.
