Bhubaneswar, April 4: The Odisha government is mulling to impose day curfew following a spike in new Covid-19 cases in the state.
There are possibilities to impose day curfew in the areas witnessing sharp rise in Covid cases. Speaker Dr Surjya Narayan Patro said this responding media questions today.
Odisha has been reporting over 450 fresh Covid cases daily for the last three days. The daily Covid count had reduced below 50 for the last two months.
Following the sudden rise in new cases, the state Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) on Saturday announced imposition of night curfew in 10 districts from April 5 night between 10.00 pm to 5.OO am.
