Visitors can explore over 20 tribal huts, 150 stalls selling unique tribal products, and 40 stalls focused on tribal art and culture. There are also 15 live demonstration stalls where people can see tribal crafts and traditions in action.
This year, a special pavilion is dedicated to Birsa Munda, celebrating his legacy, alongside a gallery sharing stories from India’s fight for independence.
Evenings at the Mela promise lively entertainment, with traditional tribal dances and music performances from artists across Odisha.
The event has been scheduled earlier than usual to align with the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas starting on January 8, ensuring global visitors get a chance to experience Odisha’s vibrant tribal culture.
