They will extend thanks to the subsidiary Gods and Goddesses who rendered their service and accompanied them in the chariots during the Rath Yatra. In pursuance of the Adhara Pana ritual, a sweet, aromatic and syrupy drink (pana) made of a mixture of milk, molasses, honey, cheese, banana, camphor, nutmeg and black pepper among others are offered before Lord Jagannath and his siblings.
