Abducted Jeweller rescued from Bhubaneswar after 36 hours

Soro, Mar 20: Soro police rescued the abducted jeweller, Prahallad Behera, from Bhubaneswar after 36 hours of his missing. A woman has been detained in this connection. Police sources said, Prahallad Behera, the owner of Subham Jeweery at Belda square was allegedly kidnapped on Friday by some unknown abductors. Sumanta Mallik of Dandaharipur called prahallad to come with 50 gm of gold. Accordingly,Prahallad went there with gold. However, he went missing after the incident. Getting no information, Prahallad’s family lodged a complaint at Soro police station on Friday night. In the mean time, Prahallad got traced by his family members from Bhubaneswar last night. During investigation Prahallad said that he was kidnapped for ransom. Soro police is carrying further investigation to crack the mystery of the case. As of now, police has detained a woman involved in the kidnap bid.
