Mumbai, May 5: Aamir Khan's fans have reason to celebrate as the first poster of his much-anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par has been officially unveiled, along with its release date. Touted as a “spiritual sequel” to the 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par, the film has sparked immense curiosity since its announcement.

Aamir Khan Productions shared the exciting update on Instagram on Monday, calling the film “a celebration of love, laughter, and happiness.” The poster offers a first glimpse of Aamir alongside ten debutant actors, setting the stage for a heartwarming cinematic experience.

Marking Aamir Khan’s return to the silver screen after a hiatus, the film features Genelia Deshmukh in the lead role opposite him. Sitaare Zameen Par also introduces a fresh ensemble cast, including Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

Directed by Shubh Mangal Saavdhan fame RS Prasanna, the film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. Music has been composed by the acclaimed trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The screenplay is written by Divy Nidhi Sharma.
