Cuttack, March 24: In a heartwarming literary and educational event, the book ‘Dhoiaara Nilajanha’ was formally unveiled by young students of Laxminarayan Government High School at Kasarda in Niali block of Cuttack district.
The occasion celebrated not only the release of a book but also paid tribute to the life and legacy of a revered educator.
The compilation is a collection of memoirs dedicated to the late educationist and former headmaster Dinabandhu Satpathy. Known for his deep commitment to teaching, Satpathy had embraced education as a lifelong mission. He earned immense respect and popularity across the region as an ideal teacher who shaped the lives of countless students.
'Dhoiaara Nilajanha' brings together heartfelt writings from his former students and individuals who had the opportunity to interact with him over the years. Through these contributions, the book captures personal experiences, cherished memories, and reflections on his values, teaching style, and enduring influence.
The unveiling ceremony was organized and conducted by the school’s teachers, staff, and management, reflecting a collective effort to honor their former mentor. Among the distinguished attendees was noted local intellectual Umakanta Samantaray, who graced the occasion and appreciated the initiative.
The book has been published by Biswatma Publication and edited by Bijay Kumar Mohanty. The publication stands as a meaningful tribute, preserving the legacy of Dinabandhu Satpathy for future generations.
